Carter Healthcare provides an in-house pharmacy where our registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians mix and compound prescribed drugs. Carter pharmacists have hospital and home health experience as well as in-depth knowledge of drug therapy, monitoring and pharmacokinetic dosing.
In addition to preparing medications, our registered pharmacists consult with physicians regarding medications and their administration. They also evaluate drug effectiveness and monitor drug interactions. Our pharmacy meets the most stringent quality standards (USP 797).
